anybody want to buy a Home Theatre PC? $285 ... Here's the specs: AMD Quad Core CPU (9850 i think.. about 2.8ghz or close to that) 4gb DDR2 800mhz RAM 500gb SATA HDD (i have about 200 divx/xvid/bluray rip movies on there, i'll leave them if you want) (2) XBOX 360 wireless controllers with USB wireless receiver Microsoft wireless mouse & keyboard EVGA Nvidia 8800GT superclocked edition 512MB RAM Thermaltake DH101 home theatre case (with remote) LG CDRW/DVDRW/HDDVD/BLURAY combo drive 550W Power supplythe front panel is pretty sweet i put custom RSS news feeds on there so it scrolls across the news and stuff (or whatever you want) while its on. otherwise it just posts the time/date and system information, etc. It runs VERY QUIET. this is what it looks like:

6 or 4 CPUs?
I don't think you have a clue what you're talking about. Maybe you should let someone like Beast pick the parts for ya.
If I didn't know better, you're talking about 4 core CPU. In which case, go for Intel I7 920, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, the best nVidia GTX 200 series card you can afford (avoid 220 - people report problems with certain GDI processes like texture blting and sh*t...). Get a nice 600 W power supply and transfer as many parts like hard drive, DVD,...

Forget the 6 cores man. If you have money to blow, wait for the GTX 300 series.
